As a tutoring director, my journey began as a student myself. I had the benefit of working with a tutor during my 11+ and GCSEs, and that support played a huge role in building my confidence and academic success.
Inspired by the impact it had on me, I started tutoring others while studying for my A-levels, hoping to offer students the same encouragement and guidance I once received.
What began as a way to give back quickly grew into a deeper passion—each student I helped motivated me to do more. The more I saw the difference it made, the more I wanted to expand, reaching as many learners as possible and ensuring they, too, had the support they needed to thrive.

MORGAN
Hi I’m Morgan, and I’m currently taking a gap year before starting a Mathematics degree at the University of Leeds in September 2026. Maths has always been a strong point of mine and a passion. I achieved grade 9s in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths, and A*s in both A Level Maths and Further Maths.
Through my current role at my former grammar school, I’ve gained extensive experience supporting students of different ages and abilities, including teaching GCSE Further Maths to a year 11 class, delivering small-group intervention sessions with GCSE classes, running a Calculus Club for sixth form students which covered degree-level concepts, providing one-to-one tuition, and leading revision sessions for Year 11 students.
I enjoy helping students build confidence and showing them that maths doesn’t have to be intimidating. I chose to work with Tutoring Learning Base because I really like its focus on providing personalised, supportive tuition, and I’m excited to help students reach their full potential in a positive and encouraging environment.
